Board Trustee

San Marcos Unified School District

  • Elected by voters in 2022, Andres has faithfully served as an advocate for students, families, teachers, and staff on the San Marcos Unified School Board. In 2024 he was unanimously elected Board Vice President and Board Clerk the year prior. He also has served as the liaison to the district's Special Education Community Advisory Committee (North Inland SELPA- 2024-2025).

    • Completed Masters in Governance as a member of The California School Board Association

    • Advocated on “The Hill” on behalf of students both locally and nationally in Washington D.C. as part of a delegation team for CSBA’s Coast 2 Coast.
